This is a ‘hands-on’ role supporting CNS or NNS asset areas. They will work closely with the business and other areas of finance including financial reporting and economics with responsibility for providing financial and general analytical support.  The individual will be business focused, have a track record of delivery, determination to succeed and an ability to apply logical thinking.





  • Involvement with monthly Performance Reporting and review with relevant stakeholders.

  • Involvement in Fin Coms & Op Coms, address relevant partner queries.

  • Attend key periodic Operations and Production meetings (incl QBR and STPF), providing finance and business support as appropriate.

  • Support budget holders during annual budget process in relation to Life of Field Production, Capital and Operating costs. 

  • Support the timely preparation and delivery of the annual Internal and JV Work programme and Budget on behalf of the relevant Ops Manager in line with the annual reporting timetable.

  • Work with Senior Business Partners and Planning Lead to build coherent North Sea Business Plans and Forecasts.

  • Ensure that all commercial arrangements are correctly reflected in business plans/forecasts.  Interface with Legal and Commercial as appropriate.

  • Maintain integrity of financial data.

  • Other reporting in line with business requirements.

  • Work closely with colleagues across Finance and other functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Relevant experience in Oil Operator.

  • Strong communication (both verbal & written) and team working skills.

  • Plan and manage workload within challenging timetables.

  • Experience working with Sun6 & Q&A and strong excel skills.





  • Demonstrable experience working in a related role within the Oil & Gas industry.
